The St.John of Damascus Church in Handa

St. John of Damascus church is located in Handa a local city with 20, 000 population, in Chita Peninsula, 30 km south of Nagoya.
This lovely wooden church building was built 90 years ago, with tile-roofs with cross mark.

Once every month Fr. George visits to celebrate Liturgy and ten to twenty fellows gather. Their singing is very simple unison, but.the voices echoes softly on the wood ceiling.
